Tell us a bit about yourself:

I’m 38, live in Milano and split my time between a daytime job and
photography… both being very time consuming and absorbing I end up not sleeping much.

What do you make?

I take pictures, mainly portraits, mostly black and white

Where else on the web can we find you?

Besides my website, I also have a blog.

You can also find me on:

myspace

modelmayhem

I used to be an eager contributor in flickr, but I decided to stop as
I don’t agree on how they manage rules and censorship.

What did you dream about last night?

I usually forget my dreams as soon as I wake up, this morning it was
just the same.

What inspires you?

I am very curious so nearly anything is inspiring. I like people,
especially women, and small things, details: women’s mouths, long
dresses, scars, dogs scratching themselves, kids playing, people’s
backs, tattoos, over the shoulders glances… I am particularly touched by natural elegance, wherever you can find it.

Where do you live and what do you like about it?

I live in Milano, in a very small street in the center of town, just
between a very calm old neighborhood and an extremely busy one.

I love the “small village” feeling I have here, it is one of the nice secrets of this city.

What is your biggest fear?

Regrets.

What are you really good at? What are you really bad at:

I think I am a bit of a diesel engine that takes ages to start and
warm up, but once the machine is running it is nearly unstoppable.
Translated into practical things: I am good at finishing things once I
have succeeded in really starting them, but I am pretty bad in
overcoming the initial inertia

What is your favourite thing to eat?

If “anything” is not a good answer I would go for pasta, mozzarella
and ice cream. And beer.

How would you like to be remembered?

As somebody sincere and pleasant to be with.

What is the most embarrassing thing that ever happened to you?

I am a pretty good “gaffeur”, probably the best one has been when
within friends I started complaining about the lyrics of probably the
most famous Italian singer, discovering at the end that that girl who
had just joined us was the daughter of his song-writer….

Anything else you would like to say:

It will not be original, but thank you for giving me hospitality here,
I am really flattered!
