Louchelink is an art, culture, music and people recommendation site, which is designed and curated by Ned and Aya Rosen.

We are building this site hoping to introduce to the world some of our favorite people, art, craft and other things we like.

In our lives, the difference between artist, friend, neighbor, person is pretty unclear, I'm a lot more interested in artist that I know from my neighborhood or bands that I come across on websites and get to actually interact with then what's on the radio or TV. Getting to know a person through their art and their life is what makes their art interesting to me.

The site will feature a different person every 2 weeks and will include some sample of their work and a short interview, so people who read it can get to know a bit of the artist's work and life.

 

Aya Rosen

Aya Rosen is an artist, a crafter and a designer who hate having to answer the "what do you do" question, because she does a bunch of things and it's usually hard to explain. She recently had her first solo art show in the Vespine gallery in Chicago and can't wait to have another one. She was born in Israel and still see herself as more of an Israeli then a New Yorker.

 

Ned Rosen

Ned is an amazing photographer who's images manage to live in this cool gap between fashion and raw emotions, and between clean and very inappropriate. He was born in Manhattan and lived in a lot of different places until moving to brooklyn a few years ago. He loves to sleep in late and have the best sense of timing, he's probably the most honest person you can possibly meet.

 

Ned and Aya got married at the end of 2006, they live and work together in Williamsburg, brooklyn.
